With the readings by David Eltis and Zulu Kente in mind, write an essay in which you discuss some of the psychological turmoil slaves had to endure. Highlight the impact and the role white supremacy played during slavery and the ideology’s relevance in todays society. Is there a difference between white supremacy and racism during slavery and white supremacy and racism today. In what extreme ways can these discriminatory ideologies encroach upon the emotional and psychological well being of black people in America and throughout the diaspora?
