I’ve been working with Excel since it first came out – I’ve had two types of people who ask me for help: those who want me to build a spreadsheet for them, and those who want to learn some of the VBA programming behind the scenes so they can work their own magic.
This spreadsheet does both – it is a good example of a robust and user-friendly spreadsheet for keeping track of bills for the year, but it does so using a fairly elegant VBA script. I’ve notated the VBA so anyone who wants to learn can pick up these simple tools and use them in their own scripts.
