To do this, you need to select one country in Asia and an industry in that country. Then you need to choose which contextual issue you are going to analyse. You have a choice of three, from the topics covered in the first few weeks of the semester. They are:

Economic growth
Political economy
Culture and ethics
You then need to research the selected contextual issue and how it impacts on managing business operations. Then use this research as a ‘framework’ to evaluate and analyse the impact of your issue on managing business operations in your chosen country and industry. Provide some contrasting practical examples from one or two other countries at different stages of economic development to the country you have selected that support the assumption that Asia’s diversity influences different approaches to doing business throughout the region.
