Sustainability in Fashion: Upcycling wedding dresses paper writing service

My thesis paper/project is called Upcycouture! I desperately only need the first three chapters written bc the rest I have to do on my own for the project portion. I already have parts of my thesis written, as well as most of the research for the journal articles, books, and articles. My professor has already approved certain books and papers. I can definitely provide you with all of this information so it will help you figure out what my thesis research and project is all about. It is a very specific topic, so let me know. Here is the loose outline my confusing professor tried to explain. I am a very detail oriented person, and would love to talk with whomever will help with my paper. I know too much about this topic, because I did too much research and not enough writing. Anyway, here is the outline. Basically, I need to write a short but informative thesis paper on how fashion has changed. I have to discuss the fast fashion industry….how Forever21/Zara/H&M all started this big change and shift in consumer buying for fad fashions.Because of this, it is difficult for designers, like myself, to compete with companies who copy designs from anything they think will sell. They also do not use safe chemicals on their clothing and are able to sell clothing for very little by cutting corners. ex-their stitches are bigger (causing the clothing to fall apart quickly, thus causing the consumer to go back and shop there more often than not). Their clothing shrinks after only one wash, or holes will appear in the very thin fabric they use. Consumers do not care bc they are paying very little….but little do they know they are paying the same price as a nice pair of jeans….its just that they only have to pay a little…for them to last a little. because of all this fast fashion, sustainability, DIY, etc… has come into play. Explain Sustainability and how general it is…along with how many terms and things are under this one word. Then explain that the “reduce, reuse, and recycle” movement was a temporary one, until companies could find a better solution to their horrible pollution problem. ‘Reduce reuse and recycle’ was created bc so many companies did not care how much they polluted the earth. This concept came into play, and was supposed to make companies reduce their emissions and waste. It did help them accompish this goal, but then the companies realized they could use this to their advantage and ‘seem’ like they are more ecofriendly than their competitors. Companies even use the word ecofriedly, when theyve only been ecofriendly with one percent of their company. THE UPCYCLE (a book that was approved by my professor) explains how we should not just settle for RRR. We should aspire to actually fix the initial problem that these polluting compaies have started. He goes on to explain that we cannot erase our footprint (we can’t get rid of all pollution bc we are also polluters), but we can aspire to think of a more efficient and innovative solution to the problem. One of the solutions included….is upcycling. So, i think this is good for a little pre-info on what you’ll need to understand. This is a uncommon subject for thesis writing, so I will be here 24/7 to answer any questions. I know a lot about this topic, but I also know that one of my greatest weaknesses is in writing. Sadly my mom was, and my sister is, a, English teacher. I guess I didn’t get any writing genes. Anyway, if I am all over the place, I guess you’ll understand why I need help with my thesis paper. Here is the loose outline of what she wants me to cover. I try to explain after each subject, but it may look confusing. I can email you much more, along with all the sources I have used or will use. I think it will save you time and will also seem more real to my professor. Too bad she is the one who suggested I hire an editor! Anyway, thank you and enjoy my detailed and confusing writing! (Sorry)

OUTLINE
What is upcycling and why do I want to focus in on it? (prof. asked to explain this in paper)

Abstract- explains the lit review in a nutshell (don’t do this part now)

Problem statement – this is what I plan to do

METHODOLOGY – talk about what material what color what inspired me to do a collection like this (do later not now)

Intro 1 ½-2 pages

Problem statement 1 ½-2 pages

LIT REVIEW (10 pages double spaced) lit review pages
Have 20-30 sources for paper (find as many journals as possible) (I already have most sources for you!)

-SUSTAINABILITY (there are so many different sections of sust. in this, why do I want to choose to upcycle?)
-FAST FASHION INDUSTRY
-CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
-CLOTHING LIFE CYCLES – REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE PHENOMENON
(use these three subjects as half of the section of lit review)
-UPCYCLING (conception) why do I want to focus on this?
Why? Best way of producing less waste. Find definitions of upcycling and examples of anyone upcycling. Also find other examples of different industries that upcycle. ex- People are refurbishing homes and cars. They are taking something old and refurbishing it into something of higher value than it was before. They also alter the look for an updated one, which also falls into the category of upcycling. ex- jewelers have been upcycling for years. When a person takes their old or broken jewelry in to have it melted and remade into something else, that is upcycling.
(use upcycling as the other half of the section of the lit review)

-WEDDING DRESSES (why do I want to focus on this specifically out of all clothing)
How long do I talk about BACKGROUND? history of weddings and wedding dresses and when white became a trend? (only talk about this a little bit bc its not my main focus) main focus is why do I want to use upcycling for wedding dress collection?
-Longest Life Cycle of all clothing
-Largest price margin for a possible online/boutique upcycling business
-Brides emotionally connect with dress, thus not wanting to part with the memories and emotions they felt that day. (need to find sources for this)
-Does not compete with FAST FASHION and probably won’t ever get too close. only people close are Davids Bridal. But i don’t even compete with them bc my quality is high end, but my materials are salvaged or used (but I clean all old materials I use)

Finish Lit review before Spring Break and finish one dress before semester ends
Schedule first proposal meeting second week of fall

(I didn’t spell check any of this so I send you my apologies through this small text box)
