Determine the required distance h above the hoop if the ball is to arrive at the centre B of the hoop. Work out two solutions: (a) an approximate solution obtained by neglecting the effects of gravity from A to B and (b) a solution which accounts for gravity from A to B. Neglect the effects of the diameter of the ball.
