Search the Online Library for an article or case study about suicide in the United States. Try key words such as “research on suicide” to narrow your search. The article must contain sufficient data on suicide for you to determine the research methods used in the article.
Explain the research methods used in the article, then identify the methodological orientation that best reflects the methods used in the article. These methodological orientations are located in your readings and must be explained well enough in your submission to make clear that you understood the chosen method and that it correctly applies to your chosen example.
Refer to the tables on pp. 14 and 19 of Society to explain your answer. Your response must be 200 to 300 words. Also, cite 2 to 3 sources from the Online Library.
Be sure to reference your article at the end of your essay and make sure you have cited the article within the paper. Use APA formatting for all references and citations.
All references must be cited within the paper to show that you read them and found useful information in them. If you reference articles that you do not cite within the paper, you will not get credit for that reference.
Please make sure that you do not use more that 15% cited materials within your paper. This means that 85% of your paper must be written in your own words or will be considered a violation of the plagiarism code in this class and could result in a report to academic affairs.
