In line with the theory discussed in the class address the following concepts in regards to research in ANY ONE (1) scenario and provide a research proposal. Use Appendix 2A from Chapter 2 of your textbook as a template for this assignment. Ensure your research proposal does not miss out on the following details. Who will be the target respondents? What will be your research approach and method? What will be tour sample size and selection? What type of research will it be (Qualitative/Quantitative)? Which research tools will be used? Explain and justify your answers discussing such issues as the nature of the research objectives, cost, timeliness of data collection, availability of potential respondent information, required sample size for such a situation, representativeness of data (i.e. non-response), and any other research relevant issues. Scenario-1 You are the Marketing Manager of David Jones – the retail giant in Australia. The company is considering to start their own brand line of clothing for men. Currently they sell many famous brands such as Ralph Lauren and Armani. Management is unsure about the feasibility of this change and you have been given a task to research consumer brand preferences. Scenario-3 You work for an advertising agency as a research assistant. One of your clients is wishing to use a foreign celebrity to endorse their brand.
