1. Lexis/Nexis (This can be accessed through the APUS Online Library. Please see the instructional guide for LexisNexis in our Course Materials. The APUS Online Library offers tutorials for using Lexis/Nexis, in the event that you are not familiar with how to use it.)

Summarize your findings. Be sure to identify the title (case name), court, docket number, and date of any relevant decisions. Unless you have experience conducting legal research, this assignment will take a lot longer than you would anticipate, so begin early in the week. It takes quite a bit of time to weed through the potential “hits” and learn how to refine and narrow your searches. Your assignment submission should be at least 250 words long, and longer as necessary.
