Research critique

What kind of research should nurses be involved in critiquing? Quantitative? Qualitative? Studies done by nurses? By other members of the health care team?

Have you discovered the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at your facility or one during your earlier nursing education? If not, investigate the IRB of any facility. Who makes up the members? How do they function? How often do they meet? How are conflicts of interest on the part of the researchers assessed?
