• Write a plan for a simple light scheme of your choice

 

• Investigate energy management and tariffs. In your investigation you should cover the following points:
• The factors governing tariff structures.
• Method analysis for reducing energy consumption.
• Explain using an example(s) of your choice, how the cost of energy used in a system is determined.

 

• Investigate the operation of a polyphase induction motor.In your investigation you should cover the following points:
• Description of types and construction of induction motors.
• The operating principles and methods of starting induction motors
• The methods of speed control of induction motors.
