I realize many of you may not have true access to a Microsoft Outlook account, therefore, for this lesson, we will watch the videos and simply review the basics needed for working in a company using Microsoft Outlook for email. When you finish watching the videos, there isn’t an assessment for these video tutorials, so I’ll have you use your new Microsoft Word skills and using single spacing, Times New Roman, size 12 font, include titles and format as headings the 5 paragraphs for each of the 5 key learning items included and cite at least 3 sources you searched in a formal References section and in-text citation–MLA, Chicaco, APA only–must use the References tab to help you in Word AND last-include a table of Contents and cover page with your name, Title of your Paper (you name your paper) and CSCI 1000 Outlook. Write an overview of these items: 1. discuss if you have ever worked in an organization using Microsoft Word. 2. Discuss 5 key items you discovered in the tutorials about Microsoft Outlook that you wrote down to make sure that now–if you are currently using Outlook, would use or in the future you want to remember. 3. Find a tutorial from the Microsoft site and a series of YouTube videos or Kahn Academy, Lynda.com, GCF resources that you could go back to later to help you in your job using Outlook. Upload to Lesson 9 Dropbox. Must be 2-3 pages long. SEE the requirements in the first paragraph. To practice our detail oriented use of these tools–25 points will be deducted if the first paragraph directions are not followed (hint last line).
