The literature this week investigated the distinctions between online and traditional classroom management. Some theorists have suggested that there is an overlap (blended or hybrid) between the two. In the research literature, the authors provided a series of instructional strategies for testing, facilitating, and motivating adults, as well as classroom management techniques.

• Are these readings viable for both online and traditional environments?
• What suggestions did the authors provide that you deduce may or may not work in these environments? Support your answer with theory and personal, practical examples.
• Are there any characteristics of online learners or the online environment that seem different from the characteristics of traditional learners or the traditional teaching environment?
