In chapter 11 section 2 they focus on measuring performances around the workplace. Every company would like to achieve their goals and objective so it is required that employees give their best job performances. It is the responsibility of management to play the role of training and supervising employees for great job performance. They can have control types such as output control which involves using targets or milestones another control is behavior meaning that everyone follow policies, rules, standard operating procedures and orders from a superior. They can also emphasize resources, like knowledge, skills and motives of employees which is input control.
