The following files have been attached to your feedback
The prompt asked you to (1) define the various components of the roles and styles of Organizational Development Consultants (ODC), (2) compare and contrast the roles and styles of an ODC, and (3) explain the role and style that would best fit you as an ODC.
You failed to accurately define the various roles and styles of an ODC. You failed to compare and contrast the roles of an ODC. You failed to explain the role and style that would best fit you as an ODC. Overall, your paper lacked the clarity, depth, breadth, and relevance of a critical analysis.
In the future, write explicitly to add clarity. For example, if the prompt asks you to define the various components of the roles and styles of an ODC state something like “There are 11 different ODC roles they are as follows…” “In addition there are four different ODC styles, which are defined as…” This lets your reader know exactly the topic or concept you are addressing. This also aligns your topic with your text, which adds relevance to your paper.
In the future, you can also add breadth to your paper via personal, professional, or real-world experiences. For example, find articles in which individuals or organizations have employed your chosen ODC role and style analyze their use and then use those findings as real-world experiences to support your decision to use that ODC role and style as a best fit for you. Or tell as story about how you exhibited the characteristics of your chosen ODC role and style and why they are a best fit for you.
In the future, you add depth to your analysis via scholarly support. If you express an opinion or take a position, support it with scholarly sources. If you are unsure of what a scholarly source is, please review my course tips announcement for assistance and review the library tutorial on scholarly vs. popular sources.
In the future please review the weekly announcements they contain tips to assist you in your discussions and assignments. For instance this week’s announcement identified the 4 ODC styles and 11 ODC roles as well as where to find them in your text.
Please review the links included in the week 1 announcement to find examples of an APA formatted (a) paper, (b) title page, and (c) reference list.
In addition, please be more cognizant of your paraphrasing and consider using direct quotes to avoid potential accusations of plagiarism.
Best Regards,
Dr. Foster
