Therefore, anyone who performs such act will be given a zero mark. There are plenty of references out there that discuss transistors. Therefore, it is ex- pected that each students should get a unique set of references (dierent from others). When you refer to a source, you do not copy down sentences from that source. Instead, using your own words, you need to construct the document based on your logic, and ideas that you found in those articles. In general, at the end of your sentences { that borrow or use ideas from your references { a citation must be included (see the IEEE and the library guides). LaTeX LaTeX is a typesetting program that generally used to produce professional documents for publica- tion. LaTeX is very popular in disciplines such as engineering, mathematics, science and other elds which use mathematics. Contrary to Microsoft Oce Word, in LaTeX you type the content of your document into a text le. Because the text le is small, the document can be easily edited and pro- cessed; therefore, you can store long text and even several books in a text le without worrying too much about aecting your computer’s performance. To format your written document, LaTeX com- mands have to be embedded in the text of your document. The output is produced by compiling your text le with the latex compiler; the process of LaTeX-ing is therefore similar to compiling a computer program.
