1. Develop and document a performance management system.
2. Discuss its various components and explain how you are going to implement them.
3. How could you ensure that implementation of this new system is effective and successful?

• Linking the performance management system to the organisation’s objectives
• Organising the provision of formal feedback for employees
• Appropriate forms of feedback
• Managing disputes relating to performance appraisals
• Helping employees to improve their performance
• Assessing a performance management system and making improvements where necessary
• Teaching managers how to use the system
• Application of legislative requirements relating to performance management (Australian legislation)
