REGION CHOSEN: HAWAII
Below are two paragraphs; I need them to be very slightly modified to fit the description of the region of Hawaii. (add a sentence or two)
I also need the two following questions to be answered in 125-150 words:
– Various types of rock the events form.
 – The relationship between the characteristics of the rocks
BACKGROUND INFO ON EVENTS: There are two major types of geological events that have taken place over the 28 million year creation of the region known as Hawaii. The first is the movement of pacific tectonic plate moving over a hot spot, (an area where hot magma is close to the surface) creating a volcano that slowly grew out of the Pacific Ocean millions of years ago. This formed an island and as the plate continued to move at a rate of 32 miles per million years the island moved and a new one rose up just like the first and as these islands moved west they became smaller due to erosion. The magma erupting out of the volcanoes cools and created the stone and earth that cover the islands.
The second major geological event that takes place in this region are earthquakes which happen very frequently and this cracks and loosens the earth and can also create tsunamis that affect the Americas, Japan and other nearby places. Earthquakes are said to be related to volcanoes and the movement of the tectonic plates.

Identify factors that influence the location and intensity of earthquakes and volcanoes for the region you have chosen.
The Factors that influence the location and intensity of earthquakes and volcanoes for a region are:
1.The Rate of tectonic movements of the plate
2.Accumulated energy in a particular region
3.The focus point depth
4.The geological…
