Experimental design to test how we could protect our trees from PSHB infestatio

Write an experimental design to test how we could protect our trees from PSHB (Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer) infestation. You do not need to write a whole research paper but just the experimental design to test your hypothesis.
• The experimental design must focus on experiments to address both the beetle and the fungus problem. You should research and find appropriate methods in databases instead of thinking of one yourself.
• Current biochemical or molecular techniques should be considered.

Format
Three headers:
• Hypothesis statement
• Experimental Design
• References
Note:
• Keep the experimental design simple but well controlled.
• The word count should be around 1,000 words.

Please refer to the rubric to check if your are missing important elements:
1. Did the student describe the experimental set up of groups?
2. Did the student describe how they would assay for PSHB?
3. Did the student describe how they would assay for the pathogen (fungus)?
4. Did the student include both positive and negative controls?
5. Did the experimental design contain sufficient detail for the reader to validate the experiments?
You can read more details about the rubric in attached file called “Prompt.” But please ignore pages 8 and 9 in the file.
