ELEC360 Generation and Transmission of Electrical Power Module 3 Lab: Building and Testing a 6 Bus System In this lab, please build the following 6-bus power system. You may want to refer to Lab 2 tutorials if you need help on how build this system. The information for the above system is given as follows: Bus information Generator information Load information
Switched shunt information Transformer information Go to âToolsâ and press the green arrow to run a power flow animation. Your system should look like the one below: In your lab report, please submit your work for the final power flow. Do not copy the figure from this manual (You may want to make your figures look slightly different). Writeup and Submission In general, each lab you do will ask you to setup certain systems, simulate them, record the results, verify the results are correct by hand, and then discuss the solution. Your lab writeup should contain a one page, single spaced discussion of the lab experiment, what went right for you, what you had difficulty with, what you learned from the experiment, how it applies to our coursework, and any other comments you can think of. In addition, you should include screen shots from the PowerWorld software (press Alt-Print Screen while inside PowerWorld and then
paste the screen image into your lab document), and any other figures, tables, or diagrams as necessary.
