Enterprise Systems Executive Summary
Goal
The goal of this project is to create an executive summary for adoption of enterprise systems and the anticipated operational impact. The executive summary should demonstrate your knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of implementing enterprise systems.
Background
Whether a information systems major or other business major, you will likely be required to provide input on acquisition of information systems technology, in which will require you to draft a technical report summarizing that technology. For time commitment reasons, this exercise will demonstrate your knowledge of enterprise systems and your skills and abilities to communicate that knowledge in a succinct executive summary that would summarize a full technical report if this course afforded the time to write a full report.

You are an employee and have been asked by your manager to research enterprise systems and report back on the following:

How they impact businesses
What are their top advantages
What are their top disadvantages
How would the company benefit from enterprise systems
Recommendation on adopting enterprise systems

Your manager and other business executives.
Situation
Imagine that your manager has recently read about success of a company using SAP or other enterprise system and thinks your company should research it further and then decide on acquiring an enterprise system and possibly a specific enterprise system. Your manager has been very impressed with your research and thus, you are tasked with researching and presenting your findings to management.
