Control System Analysis

Assignment – Introduction
This is an individual coursework assignment to complete a control system analysis of a plant. The control system analysis will examine the behaviour of the plant using the full range of control techniques covered in the course (frequency response, root locus and time-domain).
The assessment of the exercise is based upon a written report that outlines the findings of the control system analysis. The report will need to include graphical responses of the performance of the open-loop systems using MATLAB. All the commands used to analyse the behaviour of the open-loop plant in MATLAB should be written in a MATLAB scrip file and a copy of which must be included in the appendix of the written report. The report should not exceed 12 pages.
