Cloud workflow Scheduling essay help online
I need a page that describing what I would plan to do on the research.
Here is some instructions that I prefer to include it on the proposal:
1-A short description of the research area and the problem which is there – why is this an interesting area to work in?
2-A short review of what has been done in the past in this area.
3-A short description of approaches that I might take to solve the problem by use of such techniques as simulate annealing, Mixed Integer Linear Programming and game-theory strategies could be potential areas.
4-Some ideas on how I would evaluate my solution: reduction in cost, improved security (less jobs on low security resources), lower energy.
-This is the short paragraph that hopefully it will give you a brief description to start from:
Scheduling of workflows within a computing environment is a complex process as it is necessary to maximize utilization of resources whilst balancing this against user requirements such as turnaround time and Quality of Service whilst taking into account the different tasks within the workflow. This problem becomes compounded within the Cloud as a number of factors that were originally constant can now be varied. These include the number of computers available, the cost of running the selected resources and the different locations available with different pricing models and security implications. In this thesis a number of different approaches to scheduling of workflows will be evaluated for their applicability to the Cloud scheduling problem.
