Business project proposal – Quality of accounting information

A proposal represents the planning stage of a research project (Quality of accounting information). It is to set out the topic you have chosen (Quality of accounting information) with a brief explanation of why it is interesting/important, then goes on to show briefly that there is an academic literature base within which the project is grounded. It sets out the approach you are taking to your research and the methods you are going to use to complete it. Having identified several key academic papers which set the context and foundations for your research proposal, you should provide brief summaries of these, identify common themes and points of difference and explain what is important and/or missing from them.
Be focused, analytical and critical rather than just descriptive.

Research approach, methods for data collection and analysis (approx. 600 words)
Briefly set out and justify your research approach/paradigm (ensure your approach supports your research objective(s)).
Briefly set out the method(s) you intend to apply to collect data and briefly justify your choice
Briefly outline the methods you intend to apply to analyse your data and briefly justify your choice
Identify any challenges or limitations you expect to face
Identify any ethical issues you may encounter.

Bibliography (sources you have not referenced). Include a minimum of 15 key relevant references, even if not yet read or evaluated.
