Your main aim in this report is to show your reader that you can apply some of the management theories and concepts you are studying to address real-life problems faced by managers in organisations and that you can present these ideas. This time, you will be presenting your discussion in the form of a report. Chapter 7 of the Student Q Manual provides an outline of report writing.
This assignment is in two parts and includes:
Part A:
a one page (approximately 250 word) plan of the report is due in Week 9 and is worth 5%. The purpose of this draft is to ensure students have an early start on planning, researching and drafting their final report. It is not designed to give feedback on your plans. See marker’s assessment of Assignment 2a – at end of this Unit Outline. This assessment will be marked in the tutorial. Plans submitted late will receive 0%.
Part B:
A 2,250 word final report (including a 250-word executive summary), due Monday Week 10, worth 20%. See marker’s assessment and feedback sheet for Assignment 2b – at end of this Unit Outline.
