Introduction The general perception regarding mental illness is that they are destructive to personality of the person suffering from it. But there are rarely people who can even think of the benefit they carry for them. Psychopaths are people with different set of personality like fearlessness, persuasiveness, ruthlessness, charm and lacks empathy and conscience. During the beginning of 20th century American scholars found positive side of being Psychopath. There was a time when successful and rich people were known by the amount of charity they did for the society.  The irony it seems that as the stock markets rule the world of business and what the CEOs do every day and every month, traits insincerity, lack of truthfulness and lack of remorse and shame become second nature. Psychopathy is a grouping of personality characteristics including glibness, manipulation, callousness, and lack of emotion, irresponsibility, impulsivity and aggression. The prevalence in the general population as it relates to psychopaths is approximately one per cent. In an article by Boddy (2012) which looked at the impact of corporate psychopaths argued that it well known that top executives and CEO’s in the mainstream workforce display adaptive psychopathic personality traits. This paper will examine the methods used in qualitative research that can examine the beneficial traits of psychopaths and gender difference. The purpose of this research is to examine the narrative and responses of participants in leadership positions who have characteristics towards psychopathy. Further, to understand if there is a gender difference between them. Research Questions What is correlation between psychopath and the extent to which he/she is successful in his business? What are certain psychopathic traits, which can be beneficial from the business perspectives? To what extent the positive traits help in attaining success in business?
