Assignment 10

Assignment 10

For Activity 10, you will need to include a brief Intro, Lit Review (using your articles from Activity 4 or 6), then your qualitative RQ and method. You can also include your data analysis plan from the past assignment. Next is the new part. This is basically going to be similar to the Expected Conclusions section we’ve discussed from earlier assignments. Based on your method and data analysis plan, formulate some fake results. In other words, if your method and data analysis propose that you will find themes or categories of responses, then in Activity 10 you will discuss the themes/categories that you “found” when “analyzing” your data. In other words, pretend you followed the data collection and analysis plan and discuss the results you pretend found. Does that make sense?
An important issue here is to take those “findings” and use them to provide an answer to your RQ. If you asked “What symptoms of PTSD do veterans identify as most problematic in their professional life”? If your data collection/analysis was to identify categories of response, you still have to get from those categories to an answer to your RQ. You may get categories such as “anger” or “flashbacks” or “rules” – these may not equate exactly to symptoms of PTSD, so you have to figure out how those categories answer your RQ. You could compare the categories to symptoms of PTSD as listed in the DSM (and lump categories that don’t equate to a DSM symptom as “other” or something). Any way you choose to go, you will need to clearly justify your decisions.
RQ for this assignment is:
The purpose of this grounded theory study will be to discover what psyopathic traits are, as identified by senior leaders in business, as important for success
