Must describe the following. 1) academic , extra curricular and or professional preparation for a career in dental hygiene. 2) reasons for wanting to enrol in the dental hygiene program. 3) your career plans upon completion of the program. I recently graduated from George brown college in June from the dental assisting 1& 2 program. Upon from graduating I made the deans honour roll. I took this program to gain experience and to prepare myself for the dental hygiene field. For extracurricular activities I love summer water sports. I paddle board, I have my bronze medallion in swimming and I am working towards lifeguard. I play the piano, I got my scuba diving certification in March of 2013 while in Antigua . The reasons I want to enrol in the dental hygiene program is because while I was attending the dental assisting program i noticed that I wanted a career path in this field but I wanted to further my education in this field to Learn more. I have such a strong interest in the dental field and if given a chance Into this program I would be a very determined, eager and persevering student. Upon the completion of this program I would like to join an established dental office and learn how to run an office before pursuingnmy own dental hygiene practice.
