Accounting Theory

This research paper can be on any topic related to accounting. My idea was to write about ” Identity theft” and link it to accounting and conduct research on it. If there is a better topic which you would prefer to write on let me know so.

What should be included in your written submission:

• Cover sheet including the module code and name, names and student numbers of group members, and word count.
• Contents page
• Main body including:
➢ Introduction section with clear aims and objectives
➢ Literature review
➢ Methodological framework
➢ Presentation of data and its analysis
➢ Conclusions and limitations of research
➢ Bibliography and references
• Appendices including data collected
•

The written submission will be marked according to the following criteria:
• Aims and Objectives
• Literature Review
• Methodologies
• Data and its Analysis: in-depth, critical, includes students’ views.
• Conclusions: logical, related to question, enough. Expression and style: good use of language, readable, not heavy going.
• References and Bibliography
• Other features: appendices.

The research paper must also include a questionnaire and an analysis of the results should be included.
